Trip to Sentosa

This March Holiday is a busy one.  After we returned from Malacca on Thurs, mummy took the Friday afternoon off to spend time at Sentosa.

We took the Sentosa Broadwalk to the island

We headed straight to Segway for our ride.  Kaelyn is gearing up for her first ride on Segway.  Looking cool girl..

After putting on our gears, we  need to undergo the basic training first.  So there is a preparation corner whereby an instructor will guide us through.  At first we were rather tense but as soon as we are in the circuit.. zoom.. off we go!  Kaelyn was guided by the instructor throughout the circuit and she enjoyed the ride very much.

We find our way to Wavehouse... 二姨 and the 2 gor-gors were there to perfect their surfing skills... haha.. this looks really fun.. Shall we go next time?

After witnessing their "graceful rise and falls", we went on the Skyride again.  Mummy & Kaelyn went twice.. once with Daddy and then with 小姨 and Daryl Uncle.

We ended our day with an exciting ride on the Luge. See all our funny faces.. hahaha..no doubt it has been a good and exciting trip to Sentosa

Malacca 15-18 Mar

Daddy booked a trip to Malacca during the school holidays.  We stayed at A Farmosa, about 1 hr by taxi away from the city.  The resort is "self sufficient", offering varied activities within the resort.  However, it was very run-down resort and is way too big to manovure around by foot so wherever we go, we need to take the "Banana Truck" shuttle bus.  Daddy say it is 20x the size of Universal Studios in Singapore.  WOW...

After checking in, we head straight to the Water World.

We also went to the Cowboy for the Red Indian show.  A bit too many repetitions in between the show but was glad it ended with nice fireworks.  Kaelyn and Daddy also attempted to feed the elephants... as usual, mummy had to stand as far away as possible.

Day 2, we went to the animal world. We took this cage-look-alike shuttle around the premise.

Pretty white peacock and pony.

There were live shows available but we boycotted one because there were 2 incidents whereby a monkey attacked 2 persons.  The zoo keeper didn't do anything to the beast and/or assist the injured.  The show carried on without any disruption.  Mummy felt unsafe and was angry with zoo keeper's nonchalant attitude.  Hence we just walked out of the show and strolled to the farm to feed the rabbits instead.

We took a quick shower and off we took a cab to the city.  One way is $70 Rm.. but its worth the trip.  We alighted at Jonker's Walk and eat all the way while Kaelyn took her afternoon nap..

Durian Chendol at the famous No. 88 store and Chicken Rice balls.

A group of tourists hovered around this hawker as he tried his best to cut 1 bachang into 10 over pieces so that each get a tasting portion of the famous bachang.. Thumbs up for their service level!!

Another Durian Chendol at San Shu Gong.. Personally mummy thinks this is much better than No. 88.

Right after the Jonker's Walk is the famous tourist spot.  We shopped quite a fair bit before we reluctantly bid farewell  to the highlight of this trip.

The last day is a short day as we need to check out by 1 pm.  Morning time, Kaelyn had another dip by the pool near the hotel.  See her nice poises, inspired by her Chinese dance movement.  hahah...

Kaelyn made friends with this 8 year old girl name Nicole.. They had great fun since Day 2.. Thanks for the companionship
