Potty Training (Part 1)

Mummy have been encouraging Kaelyn to sit on the potty for quite some time already. She's just enjoying putting her toys into the removable container (which is suppose to contain her output.. urghh!!). Whenever she is trying to do her big business, we'll ask her to sit on the potty but she'll simply refuse (even with her diaper on she also refused). Kaelyn also refused to inform us when she has urge to do big/small business. This has been like 2-3 months already.

She started to say "我要小便.." about 1-2 months ago. Quickly we remove her diaper and let her sit on her potty. But it was always false alarm. She only managed to sit for about 5 seconds!!

During 年初二, mummy decided to let her go diaper-less after her shower. Finally she managed to pee at the potty for 3 times. She was so happy to hear the music from the potty (the music sensor will go off when the potty receive her output).. and so is daddy & mummy.

As compared to 妹妹, Kaelyn is progressing much slower. 妹妹 is almost potty trained already. Kudos to 大姨!!

Well, at least we are seeing some headway on potty training for Kaelyn!! Way to Go! 加油依璇!

Happy Chinese New Year (2009)

We've bought a Chinese Cheongsam for Kaelyn. She wore this on 大年初一 (so difficult to take a proper photo for her nowadays)..Almost same as last year's dresscode for Kaelyn.

Daddy & Mummy became so 哈日... we dressed Kaelyn like a Japanese Girl. Simply obessed with those leg warmers and Kaelyn love them too! Look at her grin!

Birthday Celebration - January "Babies"

During the month of January is mummy, 婆婆 and 小叔's birthday. Today we celebrated 婆婆's birthday.



Aunty Corina, Josephine, Ching Ching and Uncle Koeman, Alvin, Daddy and Kaelyn celebrated mummy's birthday over yummy crabs..

Chinese Treatment

One after another cycle of fever, cough & runny nose, 大姨 suggested that we should bring Kaelyn to see the Chinese Physician. A lot of children are seeking treatment from here.

Kaelyn just recovered from her cough and runny nose. After examining her, Doctor said that her lungs sounds fine so she is just required to come here weekly for 保健. Doctor also said her weight is not ideal, only 10.5kg. Doctor prescribed 6 days medicine for Kaelyn to help her improve her appetite and digestion. Following which, she undergo a 20 minute massage.

Kaelyn is a very good girl. She was sitting quietly on the bed while the doctor massage for her.



The powdered medicine is easy to feed - probably only about 1/5 teaspoon and it taste sweet. With medicine and massage, it only cost $28.

Welcome Home

外公外婆 are finally coming home after they 10 day trip to Shantou. Most of us went to receive them at the airport. The children were running around having fun while waiting. Coincidentally, look at their colour themes.. Traffic Lights.. **Wink**..
