June Holidays - Taipei/Hong Kong
We spent 5 days in Taipei and another 4 days in Hong Kong. The hotel was located near to Taipei Train Station and is just a street away from 新光三越.
Here we are at the Taipei zoo for 团团圆圆. Kaelyn was very excited to see them though they were sleeping when we visited them. She kept saying "Wake up, panda!" hahaha..
Initially we wanted to take the cable car called 猫空缆车 but it was under repair. Such a disappointment! So we headed for the ferries wheel at 美丽美百乐园 instead.
Not forgetting the all time favourite - night street at 士林夜市 and shopping street at 西门町.
Oh what is Kaelyn eating? She was enjoying Mummy's favourite 葱油饼...she said it is prata.. hahaha.. We spotted this bear in a shopping mall.. Kaelyn was hugging and kissing it.. just like a 失散多年的朋友.
We have also visited other places such as 台北101 大楼, Neo 19, 五分埔 etc.
HK is only 1.5 hrs by plane from Taipei. Heard from 外婆 that HK schools are closed for 2 weeks due to H1N1. To play safe, we all wear mask to protect ourselves. Kaelyn is very cooperative when coming to wearing mask.. see she some more 翘脚..hahaha..
We checked into the Royal Plaza Hotel.. This room is huge. See Kaelyn is doing her shuttle-run.

We took a tram up to the Peak! Nice scenary!
Of course, we will not miss the opportunity to visit the Disneyland. Loads of fun for Kaelyn.

We were quite disappointed that the cable car to the Giant Buddha was down. In the end, we have to cancel the visit.
We have also shopped at HK's factory outlet call City Gate, Maritime Square (where we found Uniqlo and tried 许留山 dessert store. Of course, we wouldn't miss the usual street shopping at Mongkok area.
Back in Singapore, Kaelyn couldn't wait but to try out her new rubber shoes. They cost only S$10. Cute! Daddy say Kaelyn looks both like a fish monger and Miss Phua Chu Kang!!
This trip is super-tired for mummy as Kaelyn kept wanting me to piggy-back her. Nevertheless, after seeing her wide smile and laughter, it was all worthwhile.
