Antioxidant Therapy

Kaelyn was a good girl when Daddy & Mummy were having our antioxidant Therapy at Ecoparadise. She was crawling around the reception area, singing and enjoying the antioxidant environment with 小姨 and Daryl Uncle.

Post IKEA Trip

Da Yi's House

外公外婆 are having their holidays at 外公's hometown so last Sun we went to 大姨's house instead. Kaelyn has loads of fun playing the kid's stroller, cooking set etc.

Different Behaviour (Final)

Kaelyn is now back to her warm, friendly and cheery self. Except that she still prefers her daddy over mummy... Mummy will consider this as a small break! 爸爸，辛苦咯！No worries, this break seems to expire soon..

Visit to IKEA & Merry X'Mas

After the IKEA trip, we head to mother-in-law's house. Coincidently, 姑姑 bought a shopping cart for Kaelyn as X'mas present... oh more shopping for Kaelyn..busy again..hahaha..

Batam Trip

We departed for Holiday Inn Batam on Hari Raya Haji. As most Singaporeans are leaving for Singapore on Mon, the resort seems quite quiet.

It was a rainy Monday and the resort is very cooling... in fact it was cold at times. Mummy has decided not to change Kaelyn into her swim wear as the strong winds made the pool water freezing cold. Some swimmers exclaimed that the water is like ice water. Nevertheless, Kaelyn enjoyed herself at the pool, walking in the ice water and playing with Daddy.



There are 3 funny incidents but I'm just going to share 2:

1. Two big guys with their family were swimming. Kaelyn walked towards me and said "Mummy, Uncle shame shame!!". Uncles were only wearing swimming trunks when swimming...

2. A boy was running around at the MRT station. Kaelyn waved her hand and sternly said: "Cannot run! Cannot run!" Some passer-by were quite amused with her reaction. Hahaha..

Marina Barrage

We visited the Marina Barrage in the evening. Weather was great as it was sun set time! Little Kaelyn really enjoyed herself in the water feature.

Different Behaviour Part 2

Our warm and friendly Kaelyn seems to be back. Your cold behaviour seems lesser and even when you are cold towards someone, the duration seems shorter too. Now you seems to dislike attending school. Whenever mummy bring you to school, you never failed to display your unhappiness.

At school, Teacher Yati say you only want her and you cannot even tolerate her taking pee breaks. Dear Kaelyn, please outgrow this as soon as possible as Teacher Yati and your best friend Anna will be of different class as you starting 2009. How are you going to cope with new teachers and new friends?

At home, you now only want Daddy to carry you, to bathe you, to feed you, to change you etc. Sigh! Why the sudden change?

Different Behaviour

Since last Fri, you've exhibited such different behaviour which all of us cannot comprehend. You are cold and refused eye contact with people. Sometimes you are scared and you pressed your head on my chest until my shirt is wet from the vapour of your breath. You must be feeling miserable for not being able to articulate your fear to us.

Everyone concluded that you've been scared by something/some"thing"/someone. Mummy tend to agree as Mummy found that you've been shivering intermittently on Monday. Dr Chua said to take you off from school for this week and we did. The 2 grandmothers did some praying hoping to ease some of the anxieties.

We see improvements and the badly-missed bubbly, playful and indpendent Kaelyn seems to come back. Today is the 1st day you return to school but you've started to cry over little things. Teachers are unable to say what went wrong.

We've decided to let you attend half day for this week. Hopefully you'll recover in no time!

Speech & Drama.. This was taken in May 08... about a month after Kaelyn join the school... She was still in her home clothes when attending school then. Cute!

Sean's Birthday

We celebrated Sean 哥哥's birthday without 姑姑 and family as they are having holidays in LA.

Kaelyn was once again very excited about birthday celebrations. Tonight's celebration was like her own birthday celebration. She took picture with the cake, sing birthday song, blow the candles and cut the cake. Oh, she some more helped to distribute the cakes to all. What a good girl!!
