IKEA Play Area

Today school is closed for the day so mummy had to apply leave and be a SAHM for the day.  To keep Kaelyn entertained, we've decided to have some fun at the IKEA play area.  No car today so we have to take 2 buses to IKEA.  The trip wasn't too bad and Kaelyn was very obedient.

As it was a weekday, there wasn't any queue so we quickly filled up the form and mummy has to show my nric.  Kaelyn was given no. 78 and had to go into the play area all by herself.  She was having fun all by herself.. climbing, crawling, jumping into the ball pool.

Nail

About a month ago on a usual Sun, Kaelyn injured her nail while playing at the void deck.  Today, the disfigured nail has finally dropped!  A new nail is still short but growing fine!

There's a little stage at the void deck of 外婆's house for an event in the afternoon.  The stage was still there when the children after dinner so we decided to have a modelling & performance show..

2 Buffet Treats in a Week

This week we had 2 buffet dinner.  Once is with Uncle Swee Lye and Aunty Christabelle at Marina Mandarin.

Nice handouts to entertain the kids who are bored.  Great to keep in touch once in a while.

The 2nd buffet dinner was at Shangri-La Hotel, The Line.   We gave 外婆 a surprise birthday celebration.  She was very happy with the spread and the little party.  Happy Birthday!!

Kids-in-Charge 2010

All the students attending classes at My First Skool centres are invited to the Kids-In-Charge event.  This year, we are invited to the Woodlands Stadium.  Concurrently, the KIC is also held at other stadiums for My First Skool at different zones.  It's like a sports day for the preschoolers..

Last  year we didn't attend so this year, Teacher tried to persuade us to go.  Finally, we say yes but we were late... very very late.  All the games/activities were already over by the time we reach the stadium.  Haha... In fact the program was already at its closing when we arrived. 

Anyway, it was nice of the committee to issue each student a medal despite not taking part in any event at all.  Kaelyn is so proud after receiving the medal..
