Disaster Day

We finally find some time to do some shopping on Sat. Kaelyn dozed off upon reaching Orchard so both of us had a good time window shopping with her sleeping on the stroller. After about 2 hours of sleep, she finally wake up and it was about time we leave for mother-in-law's house. On our way to the carpark, our dear darling puked. She vomitted and vomitted... her porridge and milk dirtied her clothes and stroller despite Daddy's efforts to "save" the output by cupping his hand... it was just too much.

晴天霹雳, we forgot to bring extra clothing leh!! Mummy frantically rushed to bossini, mothercare and marks & spencer to get extra clothing for her to change. Daddy bought a shower gel to wash her. The water was too cold to wash her so we juz dry-wash her quickly and changed into the new clothing. She vomitted another 3 times before reaching the clinic. Doctor say she has some viral infection!

No wonder her grandmothers hated the smell of cheese/milk. It was like a stink bomb when I opened the plastic of dirty clothing!! Daddy spent quite some time trying to figure out how to remove the cover of the stroller. He then realised that the seat belt which was badly stained could not be removed. So the whole stroller went to the bathroom for a good shower! Hahaha...What a disaster!

Look-alike on Jan 2008

Auntie Corina say this look-alike meter is inaccurate. Kaelyn definitely look more like Eric. She asked how many times I have tried to ensure the current end result. Alamak, I so kelong one meh? Hahaha... Auntie Corina, this is my one and only try and Mummy ensure that the 3 photos are taken on the same day ok!

What a Sleepy Day

Kaelyn is so-so sleepy after a swim...she juz doze off like that..Hilarious!

When Daddy's Away...

Daddy's away for school trip to Perth this week so 外公 & 外婆 helped mummy fetch Kaelyn home from school. 外婆 discovered Kaelyn actually know how to use a straw to drink already. Unbelievable, coz Teacher didn't tell mummy that Kaelyn has mastered the skill! Hence, Mummy made Kaelyn use the straw to suck up the water and immediately pull open her mouth.. Got water oozing out from her mouth leh.. Hahaha... Kaelyn go "O! O!" coz her top got wet by mummy's silly action. You know, Mummy has been waiting for this day to come so I must verify lah!!! A new milestone clocked for 19-month old Kaelyn! Yeah!

When Daddy called back home, Mummy put him on speaker phone so that his little darling gets to hear her daddy's voice. Kaelyn will go "Pa-Pa, Pa-Pa" ... non-stop..When Daddy say "bye bye Kaelyn", she'll wave to the phone and say "bye, bye". When mummy say "Kiss Daddy", she'll kiss on my phone.. soooo.. sweet!

Seafood? Not Now..

No wonder 二姨 always tell mummy to delay seafood for Kaelyn until she's 3 years old. In this news article, crab/prawn is the top allergenic food in Hong Kong. Some children went into a shock after eating them. Hence, Kaelyn darling, Mummy will eat on your behalf for now ; ) Yummy!!

My Favourite Photogenic Kid 2008

This is the 1st time we had studio photo taking for Kaelyn. Same goes to Weiling 姐姐, Weixin 姐姐, Yun xin 姐姐and Wei Xuan 妹妹.. 外婆 and 小姨 were there to give their support. Initially we wanted to take the cheapest package but we were too attracted to the fanciful costumes. So in the end we paid more than what we have set aside for. Ha ha ha..

One by one, they went into the studio for the photo taking. The 3 姐姐 were enjoying themselves and were extremely satisfied with their costumes and new hairdos. For the 2 little ones, we have to involve all 5 adults in the studio to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars just to get them excited, happy and smile. Imagine 5 OLD folks forming a choir singing nusery rhyme.. it was hilarious!

All our children registered for "My Favourite Photogenic Kid 2008" contest. Kaelyn (T7), Wei Xin (X16) and Yun Xin (X18) all got into the finals. With much anticipation, Kaelyn and Yun Xin each won a consolation prize that include a $30 studio taking discount voucher and photo certificate. Another round of singing session in the studio? Hahaha...
